How Often Should I Practice Yoga
The more often you practice, the better chance you will progress in your practice.
However, we understand that it is not easy to find time to practice Yoga given traffic in Jakarta.
2-3 times a week practice is recommmended.
You are recommended to start your self practice - 15-20 minutes in the morning. Talk to your teacher to get some sequence to practice at home
Do not eat 2-3 hours before your class and try to hydrate yourself by drinking water before class. Arrive 10 minutes earlier before the class starts - to register, change and settle down.
Choose a level that is suitable for you. Introduce yourself to the teacher before class begins if you have specific health situations.
Don’t feel pressured if you are unable to do some poses. Pay attention fully to Teacher’s instructions. At times, just to sit resting while watching helps us to learn
Practise regularly to get the best results. Once a week will feel good, but three times a week will create real change fast. And don't go overboard - two classes a day, every day is too much, especially for beginners. If you want to start your own self practice, obtain short sequence from your teacher
Try a few (or all) the different styles of yoga we offer. Find the practice which you feel best suits your personality and personal objectives. We recommend that you have variations in your yoga menu
